After a tragic incident one night, Sam does a noble but stupid thing and goes on the run. Leaving his girl, Ever behind in the care of his brother until he can send for her. Things happened and pinned up feelings are reluctantly unleashed. Everything and everyone is changing and maybe moving on. Ever knows she must make a choice and Hunter hopes she chooses correctly this time.

Surprisingly, it doesn't end in a cliffhanger and there is a HEA.......but I felt cheated, let me tell you why. 

First, Hunter and Ever, after all the build up and I get one "Fade to Black/Skipped" scene. REALLY?? You know how I feel about those. That cost you a 1/2 point. 

Second, I didn't get to hear Sam's side of the story. I was thinking.....Sam is an asshat. Why did he not immediately go after HIS girl when he clearly saw that she was upset when she ran out the bar? Then I was thinking.....Sam is a punk-ass biatch. Why does he turn and runaway  sprint away when he sees HIS girl and Hunter, HIS brother kissing? 

Something is rotten in the state of Denmark.....I guess we will find out in book #2, Wanting Forever.
